Privacy policy

This policy explains what information EverestRise (“we”) collects through everestrise.com, why, and what you can ask us to do with it. We follow Nepal’s Individual Privacy Act, 2075 (2018). If anything here is unclear, email us at hello@everestrise.com.

What we collect

When you take the business test

Your answers are saved in your own browser (local storage), so you can come back to your results. Your answers are not sent to us unless you also send one of our forms. If analytics are switched on, a short summary of your result (your score, your stage, your weakest area and your type of business, never your name or contact details) is sent to Google Analytics and Meta, so we can see how the test is used. You can clear them any time with “Start over” or by clearing your browser data.

When you send a form

When you book a free audit, request a call or send your details, we receive what you type: your name, business name, phone and WhatsApp number, email (if given), city, website and social media pages, competitors, budget range, the day and time you picked, and your message. If you took the business test, your score and answers are sent with the form so we can prepare for the call. The form also sends where your first visit came from (the first page you saw, the site or ad that sent you, and the campaign or ad-click codes in that link), so we know which of our pages and ads bring enquiries.

When you message us on WhatsApp or by email

If you tap a WhatsApp button, WhatsApp (run by Meta) opens with a message ready for you to send. When you send it, we receive your WhatsApp number, your profile name and your message. The ready-made message names the page you tapped it on, so we know which page you came from. Email works the same way: we receive your address and what you write.

When you apply for a job

When you send the careers form, we receive your name, phone number, email, where you live, the job you picked, your experience, the links to your work, any files you upload, what you wrote about something you made, and your coffee-or-tea answer. Files are saved in a private Google Drive folder, and the rest in a private Google Sheet.

When you browse the site

If analytics are switched on, Google Analytics 4, the Meta Pixel and Microsoft Clarity record how the site is used: pages visited, clicks and scrolling, device type, approximate location (country or city) and how you arrived. They use cookies or similar technology. Clarity masks what you type into forms, so it never records it. We use this to see which pages and ads bring enquiries, and to improve pages people struggle with. The Meta Pixel also lets us show our ads again to people who visited the site.

Your browser also keeps a note of your first visit for 90 days (local storage): the first page you saw and the link that brought you. It stays on your device unless you send a form.

Why we use it

We do not sell your information, and we do not add you to marketing lists without asking.

Who processes it for us

We use a small number of services to run the site and handle enquiries. They process data on our behalf:

Some of these services store data outside Nepal.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries for as long as we need them to talk with you and, if you become a client, for the length of our work together plus any period the law requires for records. If you don’t become a client, we delete enquiry details within 24 months, or sooner if you ask. Job applications, with their files, are deleted within 24 months unless you join the team, or sooner if you ask.

Your rights

You can ask us to show you the information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Email hello@everestrise.com and we’ll respond within 15 days. You can also block analytics cookies in your browser settings without affecting the site.

Security

The site runs over HTTPS, forms are checked for spam, and access to enquiries is limited to the people who need it to contact you.

Changes

If we change this policy, we’ll update the date at the top of this page.
